Jade Green Enamel Earrings

I love green and set out to  replicate the look of jade in enamel.  After lots of experimentation with layering transparent shades of green, I finally came up with an affect that I think is sublime.  I fired the layered green enamel on a classic teardrop shape.  The  mysterious green is topped with gold ear wires because green with gold is just perfection.

Vitreous enamel, 14K gold ear wires.
